Center's work described in Nursing Spectrum

April 21, 2003 -- The Center for Nursing Advocacy's work was the subject of a news item in today's Nursing Spectrum. The story appeared in the Regional Update section of the Washington, DC/Baltimore Metro Edition.

New Center to Promote Nursing
A new nonprofit organization promoting the positive image of nursing is currently in the development phase. The Center for Nursing Advocacy, a Maryland-based group, will focus on improving the media's portrayal of nurses to reflect more accurately who nurses are and what they do.
