HealthStyles on WBAI

The HealthStyles radio show is the gold standard of nurse-produced health radio programs. It is produced and hosted by Diana Mason, RN, PhD, FAAN, (right) and Barbara Glickstein, RN, MPH, MS (below). Since 1986, the co-hosts have been exploring health policy, personal health and health issues on a local, national and international level. The show features cutting-edge information and frequently interviews front line health care workers, health policy makers and health advocates. This live New York City radio program discusses the myriad sociopolitical factors that jeopardize health. The program has received media awards from the State of New York, Public Health Association of New York City, American Academy of Nursing, The Truth About Nursing, the Center for Nursing Advocacy and the National Association of Childbirthing Centers.
