Hope Keller
Hope Keller has been a journalist and communications consultant for nearly 30 years. Much of her experience was earned at daily newspapers, including the International Herald Tribune in Paris, where she was the deputy editor of the editorial pages. She also worked at The Philadelphia Inquirer (where she was the copy editor of a Pulitzer-winning series on the national blood supply) and the Norfolk Virginian-Pilot (where she covered the waterfront). She spent eight years in Paris (1981-85 and 1994-98) and speaks fluent French. She also lived in Tel Aviv for a year in the 1980s and speaks elementary Hebrew. Hope graduated from Oberlin College and received a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. She and her daughter live in Baltimore, where until mid-2008 she was the editor of the 25,000-circulation bimonthly magazine Baltimore SmartWoman. She has written for The Baltimore Sun, as well as for Baltimore and Physician magazines, and has served as a consultant to the Washington, D.C.-based Center for Public Integrity.
Ms. Keller is currently the Assistant Business Editor and Content Editor for The Baltimore Sun.
